Project Overview
Empire Building Diagnostic was contracted to work with the Environmental Service Group on the remediation and demolition of one of the structures at the former Al-Tech Specialty Steel Plant in Dunkirk, New York.
Due to the partial collapse of most of the structure, the building had to be demolished with asbestos in place. While some of the structure was demolished with chromium contaminated building components in place, other areas required decontamination prior to demolition as a required part of a DEC cleanup.
